Our Embryo Program: We are one of only a few longhorn breeders doing embryo transfer (ET) work today. We strongly believe that elite animals like Delta Rockette should be used to optimize the delivery of their genetic goldmines to our industry. In addition to Delta Rockette, we currently have four other cows in our ET program: Droopy's Big Base, Blue Bevo Dot, Queenie, and Denise (the only non-Butler cow in the group). Our future ET plans include three other great Butler cows: Tupelo Honey, Swamp Lady, and Droopy Dot. Selected offspring from our ET program will form the foundation of our future herd. |
